Rosettes, figural panels and friezes made of natural wood, created individually for your home, hotel, office or representative space. Made in Bulgaria by Artistico — with over 25 years of experience.
Real interiors with Artistico artistic parquet
Every artistic element is created for a specific space — with precise size, wood species, composition and finish.
Why choose artistic parquet from Artistico
For more than 25 years we have been making artistic parquet that no one else in Bulgaria makes. Here it is not just a decorative element but master craftsmanship, created with hands, experience and respect for the wood. When a floor stays in a home for decades, it matters not only how it looks, but who stands behind it.
25+ years of experience in artistic parquet
For more than two decades we have been creating rosettes, figural panels and friezes for homes, hotels, public spaces and interiors with character.
Artistic parquet that no one else in Bulgaria makes
Artistico combines design, production, handcrafting and installation in its own process — with a level of detail that turns the floor into a signature element of the interior.
Handcrafted with attention to every detail
The laser provides precision, but the hand and eye of the master decide how the wood sits beautifully, balanced and alive in the composition.
Individual design for the specific space
We work from a catalog, sketch, photo, architectural idea or a fully individual design, tailored to the room, the style and the feeling you want to achieve.
Natural wood species with character
We combine different wood species, colors and textures to create an artistic element that does not look printed, but built from living material.
One team from the idea to the finished floor
Design, technical drawing, production, assembly, installation and finish — everything is carried out by Artistico, so there is control, consistency and responsibility at every stage.
Who chooses artistic parquet?
Artistic parquet is not a mass product. Here is where it most often becomes the strongest accent of the interior.
Homes with a classic, neoclassical or boutique interior
Dining rooms, living rooms and foyers with a central accent
Hotels, guest houses and representative halls
Offices, law firms, boutiques and showrooms
Restorations of old houses and historic interiors
Interior projects where the floor is part of the design concept

Rosette, panel or frieze — which is right for your space?
Artistic parquet is not a single product but three different categories, each with a different role in the interior. The rosette creates a central accent. The panel impresses in representative spaces. The frieze adds completeness and a frame.

Rosettes — the accent that draws the eye
The rosette is the distinctive element that turns a wooden floor into a true accent of the interior. We make artistic rosettes and medallions to individual designs and to the dimensions of the specific room. In the collection you will find models such as "Medallion", "Transfiguration", "Peacock Eye", "Persia" and other signature compositions. Most often the rosette is combined with solid oak parquet or engineered oak flooring and is positioned in the center of the room.

Figural panels — when the space deserves to impress
Figural panels are artistic compositions of different natural wood species that turn the floor into the central accent of the interior. They are a preferred choice for foyers, representative halls, hotels, boutiques, shops and other spaces where the first impression matters. Each panel can be made in a standard or custom size, matched to the architecture and scale of the project.

Frieze — the final detail that makes the difference
The frieze is the decorative element that gives the wooden floor a finished, elegant look. It is used as a frame along the perimeter of the room or as a subtle transition between zones, without dominating the interior. Our friezes and decorative borders are made of natural wood in standard or custom sizes and complement artistic parquet, solid oak parquet or engineered oak flooring.
Rosette, figural panel or frieze — which artistic element is right for your project?
Artistic parquet does not always mean a large, complex motif. Sometimes the strongest solution is a single central parquet rosette. In other cases the space calls for a figural wood panel that creates prestige and a sense of scale. And when the interior needs completeness, a frame or a subtle accent, the most suitable choice is often a parquet frieze.
| Criterion | Parquet rosette | Figural panel | Parquet frieze |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main role | Central accent | Representative composition | Frame, border or fine detail |
| When to choose it | When you want a focal point in the room | When the space is larger and needs to impress | When you want completeness without excessive dominance |
| Suitable for | Living room, dining room, foyer, study | Hotel lobbies, halls, boutiques, representative offices | Perimeters, transitions between zones, living rooms, corridors |
| Visual effect | Strong, central, memorable | Large-scale, artistic, prestigious | Elegant, orderly, balanced |
| Shape | Round or oval composition | Rectangular, asymmetric or free-form | Band, border or repeating motif |
| Size | Always custom-designed | Standard or custom size | Standard width or made to order |
| Complexity | High — many details in a concentrated area | High — a composition of many elements | Medium to high depending on the motif |
| Suitable area | Works best in more spacious rooms | Suitable for large representative spaces | Suitable for small and large rooms |
| Production time | Specified with the quote | Specified with the quote | Specified with the quote |
The principle of good artistic parquet: strength lies in restraint. In most interiors, one well-chosen artistic element — a rosette, panel or frieze — creates a stronger effect than several competing motifs. Combinations are possible, but work best in large representative rooms with high ceilings and a clear architectural concept.
Not sure which option is right for your space? Send us a photo, a floor plan or an idea — we will guide you to a solution that fits the room, the style and the project budget.
An artistic element created for your space
Every artistic element from Artistico is made to order — not just in size, but as a complete solution for a specific interior. The rosette, panel or frieze must look natural in the room, connect with the main parquet and complement the style of the home, hotel or office. That is why we shape the solution together with you.
Design — catalog or your own idea
We have dozens of ready designs in the catalog — Rosette Medallion, Transfiguration, Peacock Eye, Persia and more. Each of them can be scaled and adapted. Or we start from scratch with your sketch, photo or historical reference (for example, for the restoration of an old house).

Wood species — the natural palette
The color contrasts in the rosette come from the natural color of the different wood species — no dyes or foils. Our standard palette:

Sizes — matched to the room, not just the catalog
The artistic element must be in the right proportion to the space. That is why the size is determined by the room, the furniture layout, the visible floor area and the overall interior composition.
Rosettes: the diameter is determined individually — most often between 80 and 180 cm depending on the size of the room and the desired visual effect.
Figural panels: in a standard catalog size or adjusted for the specific project.
Friezes: standard widths from 80 to 200 mm, with the length matched to the perimeter and the transitions between zones.

Finishes — one finished floor, with no visible transition
The artistic element is finished with the same system you use for the rest of the floor — UV oil, UV lacquer, hardwax or Loba 2K water-based lacquers. This guarantees that the sheen, color and tone are identical between the artistic element and the floor around it — with no visible transition.

How a rosette is made
Behind every parquet rosette is a careful process — from the first idea to the finished artistic element, ready to be inlaid into the floor. This is not a standard catalog product but individual craftsmanship, in which the size, the motif, the wood species and every detail are matched to the specific space. The exact lead time is specified with the quote.
Technical drawing
We turn the sketch or photo into a CAD file with precise measurements. Here we discuss the number of wood species and the size relative to the room.
Laser cutting
Each individual piece is precisely cut from the corresponding wood species. Walnut gives brown, ash — light gold, wenge — almost black. The colors in the rosette come from the nature of the wood.
Hand assembly
The pieces are assembled one by one on a plywood base — just like a mosaic. This is work done with tweezers and patience, not by machine.
Sanding and preparation
The entire surface is sanded factory-smooth before installation. The final finish (lacquer, oil) is applied after installation in your home, together with the rest of the floor.
Why craftsmanship still matters
In artistic parquet, technology helps, but craftsmanship makes the difference. Laser cutting gives a precise shape, but only the eye and hand of the master can judge whether each piece of wood sits correctly in the overall composition. In rosettes, figural panels and friezes, every detail remains visible.
Selection of the wood elements: each piece of wood has its own color, figure and grain direction. In artistic parquet these differences are not hidden — they are used to create depth and contrast.
Hand assembly with millimeter attention: the elements are assembled by hand, detail by detail. In some motifs individual parts are under 5 mm and are placed on the base with tweezers.
Control of tone, balance and composition: before sanding, every rosette, panel or frieze is checked carefully — whether the colors are balanced and the motif sits harmoniously.
Final hand finishing: small imperfections are corrected by hand, and the surface is prepared for sanding, installation and finish. This is what makes the difference between a standard manufactured detail and masterfully finished parquet.
From idea to finished floor — in 8 steps
Custom artistic parquet requires precision, planning and master craftsmanship. That is why we work to a clear process — from the first idea to the finished floor, with control at every stage and no unclear steps along the way. The exact lead times are specified with the quote.
First consultation
What do you want — a rosette, panel or frieze? Do you already have an idea, sketch or photo? Area and floor plan of the room.
Design visualization
We turn the idea into a sketch or 3D visualization. We choose the number of wood species and the proportions.
Technical drawing and quote
A CAD drawing with precise measurements and a price quote. You confirm before we start production.
Laser cutting
Each individual piece is cut from the corresponding wood species.
Hand assembly
Assembly on a base, sanding, inspection. This is the longest step — it cannot be rushed.
Delivery and installation
The artistic element is installed together with the main parquet — at one level, with no visible transitions.
Final lacquer or oil
The same system you use for the main parquet. One finish for the entire floor.
Warranty and maintenance
The artistic detail is maintained like the rest of the parquet. When the floor is sanded and refinished years later, we treat it together with the rest.
