Plank flooring price — clear and straight from the manufacturer

The plank flooring here is engineered oak flooring — an oak top layer on a moisture-resistant birch core. The price varies with the thickness, the width, the finish and the grade of the oak. We make it ourselves in Trud — so there is no reseller markup. We give the final price after a free on-site survey.

Indicative prices

How much plank flooring costs per m²

These are indicative prices for the material — the board itself, in EUR per m². They give you an order of magnitude, not a final bill. We prepare an exact quote after an on-site survey.

Type Price from (€/m²) Note
Unfinished oakfrom 67.54Untreated, to be finished on site
Standard colors≈ 78.66UV oil or lacquer (Loba)
Oak Classic Color79.99Ready-made colors
Iroko104.98Exotic hardwood
Walnut127.99Fine hardwood

The prices are for the material, without installation. The final price depends on the thickness (16 or 19 mm), the width, the finish and the grade of the oak. Installation, adhesive and finish are quoted separately or as a “finished floor” package.

Natural wood varies. The photos and samples show the general character of each grade — they are not a warranty of the exact pattern of your floor.

What determines the price

6 things that drive the price of plank flooring

The same board can cost different amounts. Here is what moves the number — so you know where your money goes.

▤

Thickness 16 or 19

16 mm (12 birch + 4 oak) is better for underfloor heating. 19 mm (15 birch + 4 oak) gives a more solid feel and costs slightly more.

↔

Plank width

Standard 90–220 mm. Up to 240 mm on a project basis, up to 300 mm by special order. A wider plank costs more.

L

Finish and Loba system

Unfinished is the most affordable. UV oil, UV lacquer, hardwax, 2K water-based lacquers — all Loba systems, each at a different price.

◑

Oak grade

Standard is the most expressive — knots and sapwood. Plus is balanced and the most sought-after. Prima is the cleanest, with minimal variation.

⌬

Wood species

Oak is the baseline. Iroko and walnut cost more because the wood itself is more expensive — not because of extra work.

▦

Area and complexity

A larger area brings the price per m² down. A complex cutting layout, many thresholds and non-standard widths push it up.

What is included

The price covers more than just the boards

When you compare quotes, look at the final “finished floor” price, not just the price of the boards. With us everything comes under one name — which is why there is one warranty, for the whole floor.

End-to-end process

From inquiry to quote

A transparent plan with no surprises. From the first call to the “finished floor” quote — here’s exactly what happens.

1

Tell us the area and your idea

How many square meters, what color and grade you have in mind, and for which room. A short description is enough — we take it from there.

2

Free on-site measurement

We come out, measure the actual square meters, and check the subfloor, the thresholds and the underfloor heating. No obligation.

3

Samples of the combination you choose

You see the actual oak, the grade and the finish in person — not in a photo. You decide with the piece in your hand.

4

A “finished floor” quote

One clear price — material, adhesive, installation and finish. No hidden line items, no reseller markup.

5

Production 2–4 weeks

We cut, dry and lacquer the boards ourselves in Trud. Up to 6 weeks for complex colors or widths over 280 mm.

6

Installation and final finish with Loba

Glued-down installation with 2K polyurethane adhesive, then the Loba finish. We hand over a finished floor.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about price

If something is missing — write to us and we will add the answer here.

The math is simple — the price of the material per square meter × the area, plus installation. For standard colors, around €78.66/m² × 60 m² starts at about €4,700 for the material alone. Installation, adhesive and the finish are added on top. We give the exact price after a free on-site measurement — that is where we see the cutting layout, the thresholds and the actual square meters.

No. The prices in the table are for the material — the boards, without installation. Installation, adhesive and finish are quoted separately or as a “finished floor” package. That way you see clearly what you are paying for. We have installation teams in Plovdiv, Sofia, Varna, Burgas and Bansko.

The price follows the wood species and the processing. Unfinished oak is the most affordable. The standard colors and Classic Color add a finish based on the Loba systems. Iroko and walnut cost more, because the wood itself is more expensive. The thickness (16 or 19 mm), the width of the board and the oak grade also affect the final price.

16 mm (12 mm birch + 4 mm oak) is the better choice for underfloor heating — heat passes through faster. 19 mm (15 mm birch + 4 mm oak) feels more solid underfoot and costs slightly more. The top oak layer is 4 mm in both — which means both can be sanded and refinished at least 3–4 times.

Yes. The core of cross-bonded birch plywood expands and contracts minimally, and glued-down installation transfers the heat evenly. For underfloor heating we recommend 16 mm. We always install glued down with a two-component polyurethane adhesive — never floating.

10 years on the wood and 5 years on the installation. We make the boards ourselves and install them ourselves — so a single warranty covers the whole floor, not just the material.

Because there is no middleman between us and you. We dry, cut and lacquer the wood ourselves in Trud, on the new Loba UV line. The price carries no intermediary markup, and there are no import lead times. One contractor answers for production, delivery, installation and the finish — and there is one name behind all of it.
