Solid parquet is a single board — 20 mm of solid oak, with no layers and no plywood backing. That is why it can be sanded and refinished many times over, and why a solid floor stays with the house for generations.

We make it in Trud near Plovdiv, from European oak. Boards run up to 2 metres long and 100 to 160 mm wide. The selection is Standard or Plus — they differ in the amount of knots and in the play of colour, not in durability.

The finish is chosen with the order: lacquer, oil or hardwax oil from Loba and Vermeister. Solid boards are glued onto a levelled screed; where the subfloor is out by more than 2 mm per square metre, a self-levelling screed comes first.
