The dark field is marked out by a light grid. At the centre of the module sits a square coffer with a four-leaf rosette, and from it four arms run out to the middles of the sides and end in a small circle. At the corners the ornament curves into onion arches and finishes in volutes, and between them go small squares with a cut-out centre. Only two woods carry everything — the wenge is the field, the ash cuts the whole ornament. Both can be changed: a lighter field or a warmer ornament, the pattern is cut the same.
