Padua Art parquet

Light bands weave together into an octagonal interlace and pass one under the other, and beneath them a star of eight wedges opens out. Walnut holds the dark field and the rays, oak gives the light bands — only two woods, but the contrast does all the work. This pair is a suggestion; either of the two can be swapped for a lighter or a darker one, and the interlace does not change. Suited to spacious rooms — the pattern wants length.
