Gyration Rosette

A smooth radial field at the centre, gathered from sixteen wedges towards a small circle, and around it a single belt with a winding vine. Eight scrolls repeat around the circle and catch onto one another. Oak is the field and the outer band, ash — the background of the belt, walnut gives the leaves, the thin red threads are doussie. The woods in the photograph are only one of the options; each one can be swapped, the drawing is kept. It sits well in the middle of a large room.
