Goddess Rosette 2

Eight palmettes open like fans around the circumference, and the drops within them alternate — one dark, one brick. A chain of interlacing circles with ovals runs between the fans, and the centre repeats the same rhythm in reduced form. Oak carries the field, ash the light bands, doussie gives the red, wenge — the dark drops and the outer thread. This combination is a suggestion: we change any one of the woods, the geometry stays untouched. Suitable for a foyer or a dining room.
