Galant Rosette 1

A free acanthus ornament — a single stem winds through the circle, unfolds into leaves and closes in a spiral. The field is ash, almost without pattern, so the ornament stays clean; wenge outlines every curve and closes the circle on the outside, doussie warms the leaves from within, and oak sets the pale strips between them. If you want a more contrasting or a softer reading, we change the wood — the curves stay the same. It sits well in a bedroom or a study, where the floor has to be quiet.
