A classical medallion — four acanthus groups open out around an interlaced lattice, diamond-shaped inlays lie between them, and a string of beads runs along the edge. The wenge makes the dark fields, on which the oak and the walnut write out the leaves; the ash lifts the light edges, the cherry warms the middle tones. This combination is one of several — we change a wood without touching the ornament. A place for a formal hall or a large foyer.
