Synchron Rosette

Fourfold symmetry: in the middle — an eight-rayed star with a diamond cut into it, at the four corners — open blossoms with curved leaves. The oak holds the whole field and is laid diagonally so that the grain plays; doussie cuts the red petals and the rays, the wenge sets the dark commas and the arrows. If you want a lighter or a darker reading — we change the wood, the layout stays one to one. It works both as the centre of a room and set into a larger field of solid oak.
