An eight-rayed star inscribed in a square — each ray is made up of two triangles, and the points of four neighbouring modules meet at a common point. Everything is oak: the pattern reads only from the direction of the grain, the light separates ray from ray and the field changes with the angle of view. Oak is not obligatory — we put in a second wood for half the triangles or change it altogether, and the geometry stays untouched. A quiet floor for rooms that already have colour on the walls.
