Ancona Art parquet 3

A denser reading of Ancona — diagonal bands interlace and leave small squares with a cross in each corner. The whole panel is walnut: a mid warm brown with clearly marked figure, about twenty-four pieces per module, and the pattern is held by the direction of the grain alone. Walnut is a choice, not a condition — a lighter wood makes the same pattern more airy, a darker one closes it in. It goes well in smaller rooms, because the module repeats often.
