Nine squares, each with a wide frame bevelled at the corners, and a core that changes from one square to the next — once almost black, once golden. Ash holds the frames and takes up the most room, wenge goes into the dark cores and into the thin thread that marks out the grid, and oak lights up the remaining squares. There is not a single curve — everything rests on the contrast and on the clean angle. This trio is not locked: we change the core or the frame for another tone and the scheme stays the same. Works in a modern interior with little furniture.
