The same four-leaf figure, but read the other way round: the field darkens and the leaves come out light. Doussie covers the triangles of the field and leads the whole panel, the walnut grid keeps the modules apart, oak gives the leaves, and ash is left for the thin edges and for the point at the centre. The dark field draws the room in and brings the drawing forward. If the contrast is too strong, we change any one of the four woods — the geometry stays the same.
