A square panel with a frame, and inside — a diagonal cross of four wide bands that meet at the centre. The fields between them are divided into triangles, and a thin parallel strip runs alongside each diagonal. Straight and angled cuts only, about 28 pieces per module. Here we work in oak alone and rely on the direction of the grain — one material, but every piece catches the light differently. If you want contrast, we put a second wood into the diagonals and the pattern stays the same.
