Mimi Art parquet 2

Oak boards laid in herringbone in square panels. Between the panels runs a wide dark red strip, framed on both sides by narrow cream edgings — the grid comes out dense and the fields read clearly. At the crossings sits a small square with a four-pointed star. The oak is the field, doussie gives the wide band, the ash — the edgings and the star. For a quieter reading we open the wide band into a lighter tone, and the pattern stays unchanged.
