Venezia Art parquet

Four squares, turned and interlaced one through another — the bands pass now over, now under, and the knot closes into a square panel. Oak fills the fields and the corners, while the light ash leads the bands and keeps the interlace legible. The two woods are not nailed down — we cut them in another tone, lighter or darker, and the knot stays the same. About 68 pieces per module; the floor reads best in a room that can be seen whole.
