Alexander Frieze

Diamonds interlaced one into another — three knots, then a clear strip, and the motif starts again. Oak is the background, walnut draws all the lines and frames the band on the outside and on the inside, ash runs like a light hair between them. The woods shown are a suggestion: we change any of them without touching the geometry. A quiet frieze for a study or a corridor, where the floor should not shout.
