Goddess Frieze

A fan of five drops closed in an arc — the motif repeats, and the arcs touch to make an unbroken chain along the whole band. Ash is the fan and the arcs, walnut fills the dark lunettes behind them, oak stays in the triangles between the arches. The corner is resolved with a separate fan, turned forty-five degrees. If you prefer a different contrast — we change the wood, the forms stay as they are. Large forms that read from a distance.
