The same acanthus corner, read in a light range. The band is an even oak field between two thin stringers; wenge draws the turns and spirals of the corner piece, and doussie sets the rust-coloured dots in the small rosette. The three woods are not fixed — if you are after a warmer or a cooler reading, we change any one of them, and the turns stay where they are. Suited to light interiors, where the frame has to read but not weigh.
