Esperanza Frieze

A straight band of parallel strips — dark stringers on the outside, a walnut field, and in the middle a light channel broken at even intervals by a small four-leaf rosette. Walnut carries the tone, wenge outlines every edge, ash gives the channel and the rosettes. Each of the three woods can go lighter or darker — the order of the strips stays. It lies well around parquet laid on the diagonal.
