An acanthus leaf turns over along the whole band and catches onto itself — dense, with no empty places. Ash is the light background, doussie gives the deep red leaves, wenge the shadows and the outlines, cherry the warm orange tips. The corner square is a separate piece with a motif of its own. The woods here are only one of the possible readings — we change whichever one you wish, the drawing does not change. It sits well in a large room where the frame needs to be seen.
