A vine with fruit — the stem winds in even turns, and small drops fall between the leaves. Ash holds the light field, walnut draws the stem and the large leaves, wenge adds the dark small leaves, doussie colours the fruit and the outer rails. In the corner we cut a small square in the same language. The combination shown is a suggestion — any wood can be replaced, and the line of the vine stays. A light frame that does not weigh down a room with few pieces of furniture.
