An arcade of rounded arches, each one holding a light palmette, with a small flower above every joint. Oak is the quiet field, wenge closes the band with two dark rails, cherry outlines the arcs, and ash lights up in the palmettes. The corner carries a leaf motif of its own, cut separately. Each of the four woods can be changed for another — the drawing of the arcade does not depend on the choice. It calls for a room with height — a dining room or a formal corridor.
