A solid wenge band with a wave of cream spirals running along it — large curls, smaller ones between them, and sharp tips that close the rhythm. The corner is a separate square with a turned spiral of its own, framed with an ash stringer. Two woods, clearly divided: the wenge is the background, the ash does the drawing. The dark and the light are not fixed in this order — we swap either of the two and the pattern stays the same.
