Grape Frieze 2

The same vine, read in warmer woods: the background moves into deep oak, the leaves stay walnut, the grapes cherry, and the veins and stems light up in ash. Three wenge stringers cut the band into strips and hold it straight. The bunches thicken in the corner and thin out along the straight run. This model shows best how a change of woods works — the pattern is the same as on Grape, the palette is different.
