The chain of octagons and inscribed squares locks into itself — the light strips pass now over, now under, and leave no break along the whole length. The walnut holds the background, the ash weaves the band, the oak closes the small squares in the middle of every knot. The corner is a separate square with its own twisted motif. The woods here are a suggestion — we change any of the three and the pattern stays the same. It sits well along a wall with a quieter floor.
