A Greek meander — a single line breaks at a right angle and comes back without crossing itself. The walnut runs as a solid band, the ash stays between the turns and keeps the rhythm legible. At the corner we put a separate square block with a concentric square, which closes the circuit. The two woods are not obligatory — you can ask for a darker or a lighter pair, the drawing does not change. It works in an entrance hall and in a corridor, where the floor has to lead the eye.
