Two bands interlace in a regular wave and part every fifteen centimetres. Doussie gives the dark band, ash the pale one, and oak stays the background between them and lets the pattern breathe. The corner is a small square in which the two bands make a quarter turn. The combination in the photograph is only one of the possible ones — any of the three woods can be changed, the curve stays. Suited when you want an outline around the field without it weighing things down.
