A light vine winds along the whole band, and in each of its curves sits a stylised small flower. The ground is split in two — walnut above, oak below, and the vine runs exactly along the border. Ash is the vine, doussie gives the red petals, wenge — the dark curls and the tips. Five woods, all of them interchangeable: if you want a quieter or a warmer reading, we change the material, not the drawing. At the corner there is no separate square — the ornament simply turns.
