Tibet Frieze

A row of triangles turned now up, now down — a zigzag that reads from a distance. The field is entirely of ash, and two narrow strips in the dark red of doussie outline the band top and bottom. The corner gets a separate small square in the same frame. The cutting is angled, without a single curve. The two woods in the photograph change freely — a stronger contrast is possible as well — the form stays.
