A dense acanthus scroll winds along a dark band and repeats at every palmette. Wenge holds the ground, doussie draws the leaves, the scrolls and both frames, ash gives the light palmettes and the thin edges. The corner is a separate piece — a fan on a light field that closes the two arms. The three woods shown are a suggestion; we change any one of them and the pattern stays the same. A place for a formal entrance hall or a reception hall.
