A circle with a serrated outline and a wide light border. Doussie holds the whole red field, the oak is the border around it, wenge runs the thin outlines and the diamond, the ash draws the white scrolls and the arrows, the walnut gives the olive-coloured leaves. At the centre — a fan of ash, held in a ring of doussie. The red can be made quieter: we change any of the five woods, the pattern stays the same. It works in a formal entrance hall or a large living room.
