Black Sea Rosette

A round rosette with two rings. Along the outer wreath run light curls of ash, laid over the dark background of the walnut. In the inner field the oak opens out large comma-shaped leaves that turn around a small circle at the centre. Three woods, but any one of them can be replaced — the pattern does not change. It works in an entrance hall or under a table, where the circle has room to be seen.
