Two-Tone Rosette

Two different things in one circle — a wide ring with laurel branches and four knots, and at the centre an eight-petalled flower with interlaced outlines. The ring is doussie, the branches and the knots are ash, the inner field is oak; the central flower brings together wenge, doussie and ash, tightened with a thin light stringer. If you prefer a different contrast, we change the wood — the two motifs stay as they are. It works in a room that wants both a frame and a centre.
