Autumn Colours Rosette

Acanthus leaves and curved stems run out from a small round centre and open out symmetrically towards the four ends of the ellipse. Cherry carries the orange leaves, walnut the darker turns, ash the light flowers, and wenge draws the thin tendrils and the dot at the centre. Oak sits underneath as a calm field. The woods in this model are not fixed — each one is replaced with a lighter or a darker one, without touching the pattern. A place for a formal entrance hall or a large living room.
