An eight-petalled daisy in a circle — the inner petals are oak, and around them runs a double band of doussie, which repeats along the outer festoon as well. Ash lightens the field between the leaves, wenge runs as a thin edging and eight small seeds around the circumference. The four woods here are only a suggestion — each one can be replaced without the pattern changing. A clean form that does not argue with the rest of the floor.
