Nadezhda Rosette

A square panel with an inscribed rosette of two wreaths of leaves — about thirty on the outside, shorter ones within — and eight acanthus leaves around the central flower. The ash carries the light leaves and the background, the wenge closes off the corners, the ring and the cores, the oak is in the acanthus leaves, the frames and the flower in the centre. If you want a warmer or a more contrasting reading, we change the wood — the pattern stays. The piece needs a large area in order to read.
