Peacock Eye Rosette

Fourteen peacock feathers turn around a light disc, each with an eye of four concentric rings. Curved acanthus forms run between the feathers, and the border alternates triangles and drops. Doussie carries the red of the feathers, ash — the light forms and the background, oak and walnut give the middle tones, wenge outlines everything. The combination shown is one of many — any wood can be swapped without a change in the pattern.
