A round panel with a dense mesh of thin curved lines that swirls towards the centre and leaves the impression of moving sand. Ash is the light field, cherry draws the fine threads of the mesh, walnut forms the flower at the centre, wenge paints the dark acanthus scrolls, and oak closes the outer ring. The woods shown are a suggestion — we change any one of them without touching the drawing. Its place is at the centre of a spacious room, where it can be walked around.
