Compass Rose Rosette

A compass rose with an eight-ray star at the centre and an outer ring with the direction markings and the degrees. Ash and wenge split the rays in half and set the star turning, doussie is the dark red field beneath it, while cherry and oak alternate in the trapezoid fields of the outer circle. You are not tied to this palette — any of the woods can be changed, the geometry stays. Suits an office, a study or the entrance of a house.
