An ellipse with a bouquet of six roses at the centre — open blooms, buds and leaves, cut piece by piece with transitions across several tones. An acanthus wreath runs around the bouquet, and the edge closes with a light ring and a thin dark edging. The oak holds the field, the ash gives the light petals and the ring, the walnut cuts the leaves, the doussie writes out the wreath and the edging, the cherry carries the pink. Five woods — we change any of them if you want a cooler or a warmer reading; the pattern is not touched.
