Four waves turn one after another around the centre, and each carries an open fan of narrow leaflets. Oak holds the field in four directions of the grain, doussie outlines the outer ring and the denser curves, wenge gives the almost black contour, ash brings in the thin light lines and the leaflets of the fans, cherry runs with the warmer reddish strokes. Five woods, any of which can give way to another — the curves are kept just as they are. It suits a living room with rounded furniture, a space without straight lines.
