A square panel with an inscribed circle — the frame carries corner scrolls, the ring alternates spirals and toothed leaves, and at the centre stands an eight-ray star with finely opened petals. Oak holds the field and the frame, ash lights up in the inner segments, walnut draws the spirals and the thin dividing circles, doussie gives the red leaves. The woods are not fixed — we replace any of them, the drawing stays. It works in a wide entrance hall or in the middle of a large living room.
